Monday Motivation #5
Some mornings, the first thing I think about when I open my eyes is getting back into my bed at night. I don’t want to get up and my mind is 12 hours ahead. But we are not created to wish the day away. God did not create us to just get up and toil away the day until it’s time to close our eyes in sleep again. He didn’t create us to check the boxes each day and think our day is done. God created us for a purpose. Nothing in your life is random to God. He knows exactly how many days we have on this earth. He has determined our steps and has specific tasks for us to do. He places specific people around us each day to share his love and compassion with; to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with.
As you wake up each day, don’t just open your eyes. Rather, open your eyes to the opportunities God has set before you to make an impact for His Kingdom!
