Monday Motivation #4
I watch the news and I read the newspaper. I look at social media. And I become face to face with all of the struggles and troubles of the world. Then, I get overwhelmed, unsettled, out of sorts. Everything seems to be spinning out of control. But God says that He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast on him. Did you hear the promise? God promises to keep you in perfect peace. But, there is a condition too. He will keep you in perfect peace when your mind is on him. He gives peace to those whose eyes and thoughts are fixed on him. It is his peace, unlike any peace this world has to offer. It’s easy to have our mind and eyes on the things and troubles of this world. But our eyes should be on God. When things seem out of control, God who is sovereign over all things is always in control. He never falls off of his throne. So remember today and every day, to keep your eyes steadfast on him and you will have his perfect peace. So…look up and settle down!
